February 2025 Ultreya Updates

TRI-CITIES ULTREYA UPDATE

Our February Ultreya was held on the 21st at Peace Lutheran Church with about 20 people in attendance. Our 4th Day Speaker was Pastor Gregg Shepherd and he was motivating us to RESET our lives in our relationship to God. To reset, we need to love and repent to God and love others. Isaiah 41:10 says we are to believe in God's word.  Philippians 1:6 says to live without despair. Psalms 29:3 tells us to not build walls of despair.

Reunion groups help us reset our lives with God and others. 2 Corinthians 10:3 reminds us "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does."

The discussion question was "What can you do to reset your life?"

Thank you, George Widiger, for covering for Kristin.

Our next Ultreya will be March 21st at  St. Mark Lutheran Church and we need a 4th Day Speaker.

SOUTHEAST MI ULTREYA UPDATE The Southeast East Michigan Ultreya was held on Friday February 14 (what a great Valentine's Day event). Holy Ghost Lutheran Church on Heiss Rd in Monroe was the host location. We had twenty-one participants on what turned out to be a cold and typical winter evening. The Fourth Day speaker was Joshua Declercq, and he summarized his talk by asking," who has been the most influential brother or sister in your faith-journey?''

Our altar-call was closed with the Doxology echoing off the walls and ceiling of the old Holy Ghost altar...sounding like a choir of angels.

The next Ultreya will be Friday, March 14 at Grace Lutheran Church located at 630 N. Monroe Street, Monroe MI, 48162. The Fourth Day speaker is yet to be announced.
