March 2025 Ultreya Updates

TRI-CITIES ULTREYA UPDATE

Our March Ultreya was held at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Saginaw with 30 people in attendance. Tina Schmidt was our 4th Day speaker, and her topic was "Control." She gave personal examples concerning her life and how she previously tried to control everything in her life. With prayer and help from her reunion group, she now gives things over to God. Blessings and peace surround us when we allow God to be in control. Bible verses were Matthew 6:25-34 and Matthew 7:7.

Our discussion questions were "Has there been a time in your life where you felt that you needed to be in control and not give it to God to handle for you? If so, what was it and why did you not want to let go?"

Our April Ultreya will be held a week later, on the 25th, since the 3rd Friday is Good Friday. It will be held at Our Saviour Lutheran in Saginaw. We are in need of a 4th Day speaker, so please contact Bonnie or Kristin.

The Fourth Day speaker was Cody Lake, and he summarized his talk by asking," in what situation have you felt closest to Christ?''
